This painting captures the relationship between nature and the divine. When we connect to nature we are connecting to the divine. Mother Earth supports all life in a perfect balance. Our connection to nature is through the doorway of the dolphins. The intertwining of the blue and earth colors symbolizes this balance. The golden swirls represents the divine presence and the reference of all life, including our own.

Trees provide wisdom. When we acknowledge their presence they respond to us. The iridescent colors show the presence of the divine. The brown and orange colors anchor us to the earth plane.

This painting anchors one to the earth plane. We can smell the earth of the forest. The sinew like branches enhance the feeling of being firmly planted on the earth. The magical properties of the forest are enhanced by the gold and copper tones.

This painting captures the feeling of reverence. The copper and gold tones of the trees in contrast with the night sky and moon enhance the quiet beauty of life and earth. When we pray at night, the angels come. This is symbolized by the copper swirls through out the painting. There is a feeling of hope and rebirth.

This painting is magical. When we begin to see our world and ourselves in a different way we begin to apprecicate the beauty that surrounds us. We begin to see the many blessings we have been given and cherish the ones to come. This change in consciousness brings magic into our lives. This painting captures the beauty of winter. The strong contrast of the dark brown rocks and the blue water with touches of white brings out the crispness of winter. The simplicity of the composition and the limited color palette enhances feelings of peace and grace.

One day, after a huge snow storm, I was outside standing in my drive way getting ready to shovel. I was struck by the beauty all around me and how quiet it was. Using textures and simple composition I created this moment.

This painting reminds me of Georgian Bay. We used oil medium with palette knife to create the movement and dimensionality of the ice. I see myself on the shore looking out onto the bay.

I was inspired to do this painting after going to the cottage on Stoney Lake.

Using acrylic mediums we create textures that symbolize rocks and sand. I feel that I am in the middle of this vast landscape. The warm colors act as a cradle of love and safety. There is a stillness that is created from the simplicity of the composition.

This painting reminds me of fossils and rock formations. The blue tones symbolize water and the brown, red and black tones symbolize the earth. All life needs water and air to live. Generations of life are hidden in the rocks and fossils. It is intriguing and mystical.

This painting arrived in a meditation. A stain glass effect was created using acrylic mediums. Copper was used to create trees that glow. The combination of earth tones and iridescent colours create a feeling of being rooted while at the same time being uplifted.

This reminds me of stand firm and being grounded to mother earth. The copper is a conductor of the life force or prana which exists in all life forms.
